Dr. Michael Ellis DO
Dr. Michael Ellis, DO, or Dr. Mike as he prefers to go by in his clinic, is trained in internal medicine and now specialized in aesthetic medical procedures. He is licensed in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and South Dakota. He is the owner, and medical director, of Keep Glowing Medical Spa in Tinton Falls New Jersey. He also serves on the board of directors for Advancing Health Quality Alliance of Richmond, a partnership with Stellar Health and local accountable care organization, with the goal of incentivizing healthcare providers to promote value-based care to help close the gaps in patient care and reduce healthcare expenditure.
Dr. Mike completed his undergraduate education at Pennsylvania State University with a bachelors in kinesiology. He attended medical school at the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg Virginia. He completed his medical residency in internal medicine at Saint Michael’s Medical Center in Newark New Jersey in 2018.
Dr. Mike began his career as a hospitalist at Hackensack Meridian Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, New Jersey. He expanded his outreach, providing hospitalist services to underserved communities in South Dakota at Monument Health and Sanford Health Systems. While working as a hospitalist, Dr. Mike began training in and practicing aesthetic medical procedures. He was a front line medical provider at Saint Mary’s Medical Center in Passaic New Jersey, one of the hardest hit areas during the COVID-19 pandemic. As the local outbreak subsided Dr. Mike shifted his focus from in-patient medicine to aesthetic medicine, in August of 2020 he opened Keep Glowing Medical Spa.
Dr. Mike now serves as a lead investigator for Wontech and MD360, exploring the capabilities of the Sandro Dual and LIPOcel devices. It has become Dr. Mike’s mission to provide his clients with the best, latest, and most effective treatments and the best results he possible can. At Keep Glowing Medical Spa he offers the most extensive list, non-surgical, aesthetic and wellness treatments in Monmouth County New Jersey. He has developed the Sandro Lift procedure using the Sandro Dual Hybrid laser created by Wontech. He continues to explore the limits of all of his treatment devices and is developing some of the latest treatment protocols on the market.
Dr. Mike believes that everyone should have access to the tools to help them feel comfortable in their own skin. He continues to educate his clients on his medical procedures and provides them with the knowledge and tools to achieve their aesthetic goals. He treats every client with kindness, compassion and respect and develops a comfortable, judgment free destination for treatments.
Jenna Clemente, RN
Jenna is a Registered Nurse and acquired her Bachelor’s in Nursing at Fairfield University in Connecticut. She grew up in New Jersey and has also worked as a nurse for the past 3 years in the Monmouth County area at Riverview Medical Center. Jenna is currently in a Family Nurse Practitioner program and her interests are in the health and wellness field. She enjoys getting to know her clients and provides a relaxing and comfortable environment to help achieve the clients’ desired health and wellness goals.
Melanie Kerekes, RN
Melanie has been a nurse for five years, working at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank. She received her undergraduate BSN from William Paterson University. Currently she is enrolled in Monmouth University completing her FNP degree. She has always been interested in different health and wellness practices including massage and medical cupping. When not working or in school, Melanie enjoys reading, personal fitness and traveling to new places.
Megan Kerekes, RN
Megan has been a nurse at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank for a year and a half. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from William Paterson University in 2018. Megan has worked in an array of different fields of medicine and is extremely excited and passionate about this next journey at Keep Glowing Medical Spa. She will take her talents and enthusiasm to provide her clients with the best possible experience they can have.
Gina Stamatis, LE
Gina Stamatis is a licensed Esthetician that believes that we all deserve to grow older gracefully by looking and feeling our best.Gina has furthered her studies and is trained in Oncology Esthetics, which allows her to treat clients with cancer. Equipped with a passion for skin care and helping others, Gina also specializes in Acne and Anti-Aging Treatments. Striving to better serve the community and make a difference, Gina provides clients with the attention they both need and deserve. Gina studied Esthetics at NYIB, New York Institute of Beauty located in Long Island, NY.
She provides all of our clients with wonderful customer service, and a unique healing experience. Gina believes in the value of home care treatments and the importance of good health from the inside out. Every service she provides has been designed to encourage well-being, release stress, and rejuvenate your body and spirit.
In addition to her skincare practice, Gina Stamatis is the CEO/Founder of Pure Grace Foundation, a 501c3 non profit organization that provides spa and salon services to cancer patients. Gina is an educator for fellow Estheticians to learn to be oncology trained with Oncology Spa Solutions. Gina also volunteered her services to a program for The American Cancer Society called “Look Good Feel Better”, this is a service provided to help women going through cancer treatments learn to care for their skin, learn about wings and apply make-up to enhance their beauty.
Karen Palmer, BS – ACE Certified Medical Cupping
Karen is certified in Therapeutic Cupping, Sports Medicine TRX (total resistance exercise) and Deep Muscle Massage Therapy. She holds a BA in Health and Physical Education. In addition, Karen has over 40 years of experience as a body worker, physical fitness trainer and Fitness Director. Her clients range in age from 10 years to 85 years of age.
Karen’s current career and certifications were inspired by her own first hand experience. She was a sponsored raquetball and tennis professional until she was impacted by deteriorating disc disease in her spine and had to have three intense ACL knee surgeries which resulted in her giving up tennis and racquetball for 20 years. It was only when Karen was introduced to and treated with Therapeutic Cupping and TRX was she able to play again! With these modalities she is proud to help and enable others to achieve health and wellness too.
